ART is a patented hands on, case-management system that allows the doctor to diagnose and treat injuries of the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.  Shoulder pain, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, iliotibial band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle sprains, knee problems, and sciatica are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART.

Injury to soft tissue happens in one of three ways:

  1. Acute injuries (Hamstring Tear)
  2. Repetitive/Overuse injuries (Iliotibial Band Syndrome)
  3. Constant Tension leading to Hypoxia (Isometrically contracted upper back muscles while working at a computer resulting in a lack of oxygen to the muscles)

Athletes also seek ART treatment while training and competing in order to improve performance and prevent over-training injuries.  This is because athletes know that optimal performance depends on the proper function of the muscles.  The high demands of training can damage muscle, causing them to shorten, resulting in the build up of fibrous scar tissue, or adhesions within and between the soft-tissues.

Eventually, the build up of scar tissue will cause noticeable pain and weakness. However, before these symptoms arise, athletic performance will be negatively influenced.
